I can’t recommend Seasons in Walsall enough! Every member of the team—staff and volunteers alike—is friendly, approachable, caring, and genuinely passionate about helping people. They somehow have a superpower for working people out super quick and making everyone feel comfortable without it ever feeling forced.
What I really loved was that it never felt like there was a big divide between “staff” and “residents.” It was much more like having a group of supportive mates who just happened to know what they were doing. There was plenty of laughter, lots of encouragement, and absolutely no feeling of being talked down to or judgement.
There were opportunities for residents to get involved and build some structure into their week, with different roles and responsibilities that gave people confidence, purpose, and a chance to contribute. On top of that, there were some fantastic groups that encouraged people to look a little deeper at the challenges they were facing. They managed to tackle serious topics without making them feel heavy or overwhelming—which is no easy feat!
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be welcomed, supported, challenged (in a good way!), and probably have a few laughs along the way, Seasons is definitely worth a visit.

I was a resident in this treatment centre recently, having completed over 3 months treatment. The staff are passionate and care deeply about helping residents to get well. I arrived completely broken and my behaviours were off key. I was shown love and compassion which helped me through the worst 3 week psychosis I had ever experienced.

I’ve just hit my 30 days clean mark after doing 21 days in Seasons rehab centre. I come to Seasons addicted to crack and alcohol, I was in a really bad way. Seasons helped me the minute I walked through the door, my detox was comfortable and smooth as far as a detox goes.
